Ok are you ready for this? I have so many awesome tools that I use almost on the daily, and, quite frankly, forget how helpful they are in living my awesomely active, fit and healthy lifestyle.
I’ve listed 7 of some of my most favorite-est things for you to check out and hopefully find useful! I assure you that you will love them too. Make sure to ask Santa to hook it up and keep you on track for the New Year!
Here they are…in no particular order!
Must have item #1–The George Forman “Lean, Mean, Fat grilling machine”.
Ok, so I know it sounds cheesy, and totally like an infomercial, but I seriously LOVE this thing. It is the quickest and easiest way to get some bulk cooking done. I can usually knock out (pun intended…get it, George Forman 🙂 about 6-8 chicken breasts or ground chicken/turkey breast burgers. I have even steamed my asparagus and veggies on this thing. It’s been used and abused but has held up nicely.
My model above is older but they have a freakin’ awesome one that now has removable grill plates so it’s much easier to wash. ‘Cause I’m not going to lie, sometimes washing this thing is a bitch! Make sure to get the family sized one! Here’s the newer fancier model here, on the worlds awesomest place, Amazon. Check it out!
Must have item #2- Non-Dorky Fanny Pack
This is basically a non-dorky, super cool and trendy fanny pack. Crazy I know. But seriously…if you are a runner or workout at the gym this thing is freakin amazing. I have literally busted through 3 arm bands that hold my iPhone and those things are so annoying and restrict mobility a bit. This belt is revolutionary! Ha! Sleek, small and very non-fanny-pack-ish.
Your cell phone will fit nicely in there and there’s also some cool smaller pockets for keys, goo or pop tarts. Just sayin’! Check it out here! I didn’t realize these bad boys were such a hot commodity, as of this post there are only 13 left!
Must have item #3- Secura Automatic Electric Milk Frother and Foamer
This is a coffee drinkers heavenly oasis of FOAM. I must say, when I gave up sugary Starbucks drinks, I sure did miss myself some whipped topping and foam. Black coffee is just so…boring! One of my besties, Claudia, got this bad boy for me because I was constantly drooling and envying every Starbucks bypasser who had a beautiful latte with loads of frothy heaven.
I use this thing on the daily, NO JOKE, and it’s super simple to use. Quick tip…to get those pillowy tops of foam, you simply pour in your almond milk and one packet of Stevia and POOF magic before your eyes. It makes every coffee drinking experience amaze balls. Plus will save you a boatload of cash if you drink it at home and not at Starbux. You can check it out here!
Must have item #4- UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein) Protein Powder (Chocolate)
I am frequently asked what type of protein powder that I recommend. I’ve been using UMP for almost 11 years so far. I’ve tried everything out there and it still remains my tried and true fave. I use it in all of my baking recipes as well as just a quick shake when I’m on the go.
It’s incredibly tasty and you’ll actually look forward to using it in many different ways. You can check it out HERE.
Must have item #5- Cuisinart Frozen Yogurt/Ice Cream Maker
Ohhh where do I even start?? This pretty little puppy has been a lifesaver, especially when I was contest prepping for my bikini shows. I have made like 134,564 different versions of protein ice cream starting with the basic foundation of the recipe:
- My most FAVE protein powder UMP
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 cup of NF cottage cheese blended then dump into this ice cream maker.
It is ridiculously simple to use, takes all of 20 seconds to clean up and produces great results. The protein ice cream is so good even my kids love it!! And they even have the machine in pink, blue and red!! So adorbs. Check it out here!
Must have item #6- Family Friendly Fat Burning Meals Cookbooks!
I picked these bad boys up when I got to meet this awesome chick herself earlier this year at a Fitness conference! These poor cookbooks are dog-eared and have multiple food splotches all over them. Let’s just say they’ve been used quite a bit. I always know when I’m lacking for ideas in the food department I can crack these open and have an abundance of ideas that are easy to whip up. Plus my kids really enjoy them too. I really love the dessert book…but I’m sure you knew that!
I’ve baked so many of them and have passed them over on my family without them knowing they were “healthy”. Arm yourself with fantastic healthy cooking resources! Check it out here.
Must have item #7– HydroFlask
This was another awesome gift from my gal pal Claudia. She saw me toting around an ugly plastic gallon water jug and bought me this super cool insulated jug of hydration that’s much more stylin’. My jug is the massive, 64 ounce big boy! I try to fill it 2x per day to hit my water intake and stay hydrated.
What’s even better, is that you can even use it for hot liquids as well. So, when it’s chilly here in Cali, I can fill it with some yummy chai or green tea. They are pricey, but WELL worth the investment. I’ve dropped it so many times and it holds up like a champ. You can see all the sizes, colors and varieties over here! Oh, and make sure you get these other 2 must-have accessory items the handle and the flip-top lid!!
