“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” -Muriel Strode
The studio always steams up when I host couples lap dance workshops. The women that participated did incredible and really embraced their confident, sexy selves! It is always sheer bliss watching the magic unfold as each woman taps into her confidence and smiles brighter. The men were such great sports, supportive and very well behaved. ?
Every workshop was met with a fun mixture of participants. Some women very comfortable in the Venus setting, brand new women and some men who had no idea what they were in for. After a champagne toast we were off and running with instructing the women how to dance while their partners sat smitten and oh-so-patient.
After talking with my instructors when we finished our workshops, it brought me back to how I’m always amazed at how sensual dancechanges so much for women. Sharing sensual dance with your partner is fun and of course can add increased levels of intimacy. However, when you realize that you are really doing it for yourself, that’s when your confidence shines.
I’ve also witnessed women “shrinking” way too often. They are afraid their confidence will come across as self-absorbed, vain or conceited. It’s actually the opposite. Because of this I STRONGLY encourage each and every woman to “shine bright like a diamond” all of the time.
With that being said, as Marianne Williamson has said in her infamous quote “one of our deepest fears is not that we are not good enough. Typically our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens and intimidates us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?”
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Through sensual dance I’ve taught thousands of women how to let their light shine. Here in this video I show you how to sexy walk when you are embarking on feminine movement. It’s one of the very first things I teach women when they want to learn how to sensual dance. It revamps their posture and opens their minds to trying something new. It’s simple in theory and incredibly powerful once you master it. Practicing the sexy walk I NEVER get bored. I always find new ways to make it more interesting.
Try it out and let me know how you do. I also want you to STOP minimizing your light, hard work, effort and confidence when someone compliments you. Just say THANK YOU!
It can feel awkward and very uncomfortable if you aren’t used to accepting compliments without immediately interjecting a self-depricating comment. Like anything, it takes practice and will get easier.
Embrace your fabulousness, let it shine and quit the negative self-talk that will make others think you are less than the perfect Goddess you are.
