I’m sure everyone in the studio will agree that when she’s in class it’s a little extra exciting because she keeps the energy high and there guaranteed smiles for everyone. Always positive and encouraging, I know I can count on Sandra to be a great partner in class with any Goddess, new or veteran.

Not only has Sandra tightened and toned her body all over, she has decreased body fat and has smoother skin! Look at how her body has changed through our program. She looks amazing!! Great work Miss Sandra 🙂

Name: Sandra Temple

Occupation and age:  29 going on my fabulous “30” on July 11th!  I am a full time MOMMY and fulltime Registered Nurse at DMC.

Kids? Grandkids?  If so brag a bit: And brag I shall, I have an Amazing, full of life princess, who just turned two May 18th, that we call Adele Sophia! My daughter is very social, outgoing, and a master of knowing how to get her way.

Your life motto:  “If it’s meant to be, it will happen. Do not force it.”  Been living by this since I can remember, and I try to teach others to live in the moment, and not to stress about the future.

How long have you been a Goddess at Venus? The day that I took my first steps into the Venus studio was exactly 8 weeks after I had my baby girl which happen to land on my Birthday July 11th 2012, it was the best present I could ever buy myself. Diane took my hand as a brand new mom, and made it easy for me to enjoy working out again and giving me confidence like I never had before.

Have you undergone a transformation (physically, emotionally or both!)? CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! Is it possible to love your post pregnancy body more than your pre? For this mama it is! My body has transformed, and I have muscle that I have never seen before. Emotionally I have grown to love myself and to motivate my gorgeous friends to do the same.

Did you have any previous dance or fitness training before starting Venus? If you ask anyone that knows me, they would say that I hate working out at the gym.. sad but true.! I would only go if I was really bored. I would do some squats, push ups and stretching at home, but that was the extent of me working out.

What made you decide to take classes?  As I was on my pregnancy leave, I saw that one of my friends (TERRA) was checking in on Facebook to this place called “Venus Pole Fitness of Modesto.” Terra would post on how great she feelt and how much fun she had. So I asked her , “What is VPF?”  She gave me Diane’s number and that’s all it took. I became a pole JUNKIE! Boot-camps and pole classes have forever changed me.

What fears held you back (if you had any!) before you joined? I had NO fears. I dove right in without looking back. Best choice ever.

Favorite class and why? My favorite class right now is “Vertical Vixens Intermediate/Advanced.” Yes, you read it right, this girl made it to an advance class and I’m loving it.  If I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT! The girls in this class are the most encouraging, motivational, and strongest women I know.

What is it that you LOVE about Venus? The sisterhood it has. You don’t sign up for it, its given to you on a platter. The second you step foot in the studio you feel at “home.”  The girls encourage you to be a better you. “Keep running,” “ten more seconds,” “you can do that deeper!” list goes on. 🙂

Platforms, barefeet or legwarmers? BOOTS! They are just so damn sexy.

What are your current pole goals?  My current pole goal was to do a shoulder mount, I checked that one off just last week! WooHOO! My new goal is to do a leg hang and be able to switch legs without breaking my neck. Ha!

What are your current fitness goals? My current fitness goal is to tone up by the end of July.
What is your favorite Goddess recipe? Only one pops in my head. I love me some breakfast, so I have to say hands down “Diane’s 5 min Oats” I inhale it every time! My coworkers think I’m weird.

Do you have a favorite song to pole dance to? “Go Girl” – Pitbull

We LOVE music at Venus Pole Fitness. What 3 songs would be featured on the soundtrack to YOUR life?

1. Born This Way – Lady Gaga (Such a great meaning, love yourself for who you are!)

2. All Of Me- John Legend (reminds me of my AMAZING husband!)

Final Question:

Any inspirational advice you would like to share with women who are afraid to come to the studio and start their own transformation? What is there to be afraid of, having fun? Don’t postpone an amazing experience.
